This place in not fancy, it’s a gas station, thrum storm, convenience store, diner.
We just happened to stop here on our way elsewhere....clean restrooms are plus..we were planning on eating at a place down the road a wats, but after looking at what was available, we ate her. I consider myself to be good judge of fried, baked, roasted chicken...I LOVE CHICKEN...WE RAISE CHICKENS..’nuf said.at a certain point you can’t get any better, but you can be equal to other fried chicken...I have not had better fried chicken, mashed potatoes and cream gravy than I got here...I have had as good, but you cannot get better. My list of good chicken places includes, Stroud’s, Brookfield Inn, Churck’s, Popeyes, Pizza Ranch, the Family Table...I do not include Kansas favorites, Chicken Mary’s or Chicken Annie’s.
Great truck stop and gas station. Inside the restrooms are nice and generally clean. They also have a small restaurant with great food.
They work hard to keep the restrooms clean. There is a fried chicken joint in the building, and a good selection of food and beverages. One of your finer truck stops along 54 Highway.
Stopped on the way back to Pittsburg from a Cross Country meet. They have ready made food or made to order. Plus car and truck parts. You can find a little of everything here.

Very clean - inside and out! Good, home style food at a very fair price, always fresh coffee, clean dining area and bathroom. Very friendly staff make sure you feel right at home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
